ELF's Baked Eyeshadow Line

My favorite line from Eyeslipsface.com by far has to be the studio line. I find that most of the products are everyday staples that are really amazing products for the cost. The products in this line are on average $3 a piece, which is a steal! I wanted to feature some of my favorite E.L.F products and why I think you should give them a try. I am not paid by E.L.F to feature any of these products or given any free merchandise in return for a good review. This is purely my opinion.

Elf came out with the “Baked” products in 2012 and they completely swept me up! But are they worth the hype?

I immediately rushed to purchase the baked eye shadow single because I was looking for a replacement of the Maybelline Eye Studio Duo in 05 Carbon Frost. It has a black and amazing swirl of pink, shimmery colors on the other side. While I was unable to match the light pink hue that I was searching for I was very satisfied with Baked Eye shadow singles. They are not chalky and the color payoff is oh so amazing. The singles come in a variety of 6 colors including:

(Colors in order from LEFT TO RIGHT, TOP TO BOTTOM are: Bark, Burnt Plum, Enchanted, Pixie, Toasted and Dusk)

The company later came out with the Baked Eyeshadow Palettes which I found to be similar in color payoff but they are a bit more..."dusty". If you work with them correctly you will have little to no fallout though. I found the best ways to apply both of these products is to use your clean finger or to pat the eye shadow on with a brush instead of swiping it across the eye. You also get a better color payoff with these application methods.
Here are the two Baked Eye shadow Palettes available:

(Palette on the left is CALIFORNIA and palette on the right is NYC)

I really love the California palette because it has a lot of nude/neutral colors versus the NYC. I do though, use the NYC a lot for a more dramatic or nighttime look.

I’m not sure if anyone else knows this but when you open both palettes they snap into each other easily for one big palette and one mirror. Be careful they will come apart effortlessly but not just fall apart.

VoilĂ ! You can choose from both palettes at your fingertips effortlessly!

The eye shadow singles are currently $3 a piece and the palettes are $10 a piece.

If you sign up for ELF's email newsletter they ALWAYS have a deal going and you may even be able to nab these products 50% maybe even 60% off! I purchased the palettes for $5 a piece and the single eyeshadows for $1.50 a piece.

As always stay lovely!

ELF is having a birthday!

eyeslipsface.com is one of my favorite makeup brands and in celebration of their birthday I'm going to be talking about my favorite Elf products and why I love the brand.

Prices start at $1. The essentials line are your must have staple beauty products.

They have everything you need for the eyes, lips face and much more.
No, they're not paying me to say any of this, I just really love ELF!

The products I'm going to feature and talk about today are the 32 Piece Eyeshadow Pallet and the Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette. They are amazing! They're just $5 each and I reach for them EVERYDAY! The best part is I didn't purchase either of these eyeshadow pallets. E.L.F sent me them for free (along with tons of other stuff!) with a minimum $ amount order. I totally love them. One of my favorites! I always wear it over their eyelid primer which at $1 is a dupe for Urban Decay's Potion Primer and it's amazing! Last's all day, amazing color =)
in celebration of their own birthday ELF giving away goodies and doing awesome deals so make sure you check out E.L.F's WEBSITE <3

check back soon for my other favorite ELF products

Find your body size

It can be hard to figure out your body type, but its necessary step you need to take to figure out what types of clothes may look best for you! I found a simple quiz that helped me.

*BODY TYPE QUIZ*

I was a rectangle. Really consider your answers, look in the mirror and determine each answer carefully.

I HEART esty

ETSY! is a great community of people who sell items THEY make! I linked you to a search for "funky headbands" because of my last post. I think they're a great way to add a real pop to your complete look. Take a look around the rest of the website, they have everything under the sun. I found found some really adorable stuff at affordable prices. You could purchase some items or get dirty and make your own! Great ideas to get the creativity flowing.

Spunk up an ordinary top with frisky hair!

I added a leopard print scarf to my hair. It added something to draw something to my face/ chest area rather than my more problem areas. (waist!) I bought this scarf at a thrift store for $1. I have many different styles, colors, sizes and shapes that I use for an array of things, not just my hair. You can tie one around the strap of your purse to compliment your outfit. Ive tucked them into my pocket with a part showing before. You could fold it up and wrap it around your wrist. You don't have to wrap it in your hair either, you can tie it in or find new funky ways to use it.
